And instead just allow users to scroll to the right when the number of columns is too big to display. Provide an open to remove the right hand pane (or pain!) which shows the line contents when you selected a row in the resultset. If the user is already indented on the line, when they go to a new line, auto indent to match the line above. Some keywords/functions are missing highlighting in SQL Server such as LEN or COUNT So when you write a function(some stuff here) and put the mouse curser next to one of the parentheses, it highlights the matching parentheses.
open tabs (and their content) to be remembered and re-opened when you re-connect to a server It would be awesome to show linked servers (SQL SErver feature) under “Databases” In SQLPro I can see all views, grouped by schema and thats really nice compared to TablePlus. I wish it was possible to select multiple schema rather than being restricted to just one. This has a more modern feel to the UI which I like. It is good, and I’m comparing this mostly to SQLPro Studio. (My friend makes decent money off of SetApp which made me feel a lot better about the whole thing and feel comfortable it wasn’t predatory towards indie app makers).It’s good. There are a number of apps in SetApp I’ve already paid for, but talking to a friend who is a SetApp author, if I install the SetApp version, that actually helps him get paid more so when I do have overlap, I install the SetApp version. I actually discovered TablesPlus thorough SetApp and liked it enough to buy the Windows version for the times I use Windows. So for an app like Ulysses, I don’t have to pay the annual IAP or subscription (the Ulysses subscription extends to iOS too fwiw although other apps like Screens still have their own separate iOS apps, which makes sense). Any annual upgrade terms don’t apply, your access is predicated on having a SetApp subscription. My account (which I got whenever it launched) let’s me have 5 machines but the standard plan might be 2, I’m unsure. SetApp lets you have a certain number of “active” machines. They make agreements with the publishers and SetApp delivers the app updates (usually the same day as the regular app updates are released).
