There were 477 households, out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.0% were married couples living together, 5.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.9% were non-families. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.64% of the population. The racial makeup of the township was 98.29% White, 0.50% African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.28% from other races, and 0.71% from two or more races. There were 625 housing units at an average density of 16.1/sq mi (6.2/km 2). The population density was 36.3 inhabitants per square mile (14.0/km 2).
